Backpacks are coming back out, school is starting, and football fields across the country are getting busy again.
For young football players, this is one of the most exciting times of the year. Youth and high school seasons are getting underway, college football is back,
and the NFL season is right around the corner.
After a summer of camps, workouts, practices, and preparation, it is finally time to put all of that work to use.
But while football season may just be getting started, it is also a good reminder of something we tell families every year: It’s never too early to start planning for next summer.
Football Development Doesn’t Stop When the Season Ends
For most young athletes, football development happens year-round. During the season, players are practicing with their teams, preparing for opponents, learning their playbooks, and competing every week. It is an opportunity to put their skills into action and learn through real game experience.
The offseason provides a different opportunity.
That is when players can take a closer look at their individual game, work on fundamentals, improve their technique, and spend more time developing the skills specific to their position.
That’s a big part of what we focus on at Sports International Football Camps.
Whether a camper attends one of our All Positions Football Camps, Lineman Academies, or Passing, Receiving & DB Academies, our goal is to help athletes build skills they can take back to their teams when football season rolls around again.
Learn From Football at Every Level
One of the best parts about this time of year is that football is everywhere. You can play on Friday night and then spend the weekend watching college and NFL players at your position.
And instead of always following the football, try watching your position.
Watch how a receiver gets off the line. Pay attention to a quarterback’s footwork. Watch an offensive lineman’s first step and hand placement. See how a defensive back positions himself before the snap.
Young players can learn a lot simply by watching how experienced players approach the same position they play.
At Sports International Football Camps, campers get another opportunity to learn by working with experienced high school and college coaches, former and current NFL players.
Our All Positions Camps feature members of teams including the Carolina Panthers, Minnesota Vikings, Seattle Seahawks, New York Jets & Giants, Dallas Cowboys, New England Patriots, and Washington Commanders.
Good Luck This Season!
Most importantly, we want to wish all of our 2026 campers the best of luck this football season.
We loved having you with us this summer, and now we are excited to see what you can do with your teams this fall.
Work hard. Be coachable. Support your teammates. Keep improving. And don’t forget to enjoy it.
Football season is back, make the most of it.
And when the season eventually comes to an end, we’ll be getting ready to do it all over again. Our 2027 Sports International Football Camps are already on the calendar, with camps across the country for athletes ages 7-18.
Until then, we’ll see you under the Friday night lights, on Saturdays, and every NFL Sunday.
Good luck this season, campers!
