PLAYER PROFILE:

Josh Morgan is a former NFL Wide Receiver who played for the Washington Commanders, Chicago Bears & San Francisco 49ers in the National Football League. Josh was born and raised in Washington D.C. He played collegiately at Virginia Tech. He would be a member of the Hokies football team for the next 4 years and finished his collegiate career at Virginia Tech with 122 receptions, 1,817 receiving yards, & 16 touchdowns. All of those stats rank in the top 10 all-time at Virginia Tech for an individual player! After graduating in 2008, Josh declared for the NFL Draft and was selected in the 6th round (174th overall) by the San Francisco 49ers! As a Rookie, Josh played in 12 games for the 49ers and recorded 20 receptions, 319 yards, & 3 touchdowns. He followed up his Rookie season by performing even better in his 2nd and 3rd years. In his 2nd NFL season, Josh played in all 16 games and recorded 52 receptions, 527 yards, & 3 touchdowns. Then, in his 3rd season, he posted a career-high 698 receiving yards and 2 more touchdowns. After four promising years with the 49ers, Josh signed a free agent deal with Washington and immediately became one of their starting wide receivers! He would spend the next two seasons with Washington before retiring from the NFL in 2015. Overall, Josh played 7 seasons in the NFL from 2008-2014 and recorded 209 receptions, 2,558 receiving yards, and 12 touchdowns! He had an amazing career, and we are so excited to have him at camp with us in Virginia & New Jersey in 2025! 2025 will be Josh Morgan’s 2nd year coaching our camps and he truly is one of the best!
