Jason Brownlee Player Profile

PLAYER PROFILE:

Jason Brownlee is a wide receiver for the New York Jets in the National Football League. Jason grew up in West Point, Mississippi and attended West Point High School. He played for a very strong high school team that won the State Championship his Senior year. During his Senior season in high school, Brownlee caught 42 passes for 967 yards and 11 touchdowns! After high school, he didn't receive any high-major scholarship offers, so he committed to East Mississippi Community College. He would spend two years with the school, and after his tremendous sophomore season, where he recorded 75 reception, 1,055 yards, and 12 touchdowns, he would transfer to Southern Mississippi University. Over the next three years at Southern Miss, Brownlee would lead the team in receptions each year, culminating in his Senior year with the school where he recorded 55 reception, 891 yards, and 8 touchdowns. He was also named a 2nd-Team All-Conference USA selection! After graduating in 2023, he declared for the 2023 NFL Draft, but went undrafted. He was signed as an undrafted free agent by the New York Jets following the Draft. Jason would make the initial 53-man roster with the Jets in 2023 and mostly played as a special teams' and depth option during his Rookie Season. He recorded 5 receptions for 56 yards and 1 touchdown during his Rookie year. Jason is hoping to move up the depth chart during his second season with the team and we can't wait to see his progress! We are extremely excited to have Jason Brownlee at camp with us this year and your chance to meet him is June 26-29, 2024, at Drew University in Madison, NJ! Don't miss out!
