PLAYER PROFILE:
Donovan Ezeiruaku is a defensive end for the Dallas Cowboys in the National Football League. Donovan was born in Philadelphia, PA and grew up in Williamstown, New Jersey. He attended Williamstown high school in New Jersey and was the best defensive player on the team during his 4 years in high school. As a senior, he recorded 47 tackles, 2 sacks & 9 tackles for loss. He wasn't a heavily recruited prospect coming out of high school, but committed to Boston College after graduating. As a freshman in 2021 at Boston College, Donovan was a rotational defensive lineman, but still recorded 19 tackles, 2 sacks & 3 tackles for loss. However, he really stepped up as a sophomore and became a force along the defensive line. During his sophomore season, he played in every game and recorded 61 tackles, 14.5 tackles for loss, 8.5 sacks, 2 pass deflections & 3 forced fumbles! He also earned 2nd-Team All-ACC honors as a sophomore. Then as a Junior, Donovan continued to excel, but had his best season as a senior in 2024. In 2024, he recorded 16.5 sacks, tying the Boston College school record for a single season! He was also named the 2024 ACC Defensive player of the Year and won the Ted Hendricks Award, given to the nation's top defensive end! After graduating in 2024 from Boston College, Donovan declared for the 2025 NFL Draft and was selected in the 2nd round (44th overall) by the Dallas Cowboys! It's safe to say we're expecting a lot from this talented young man!
