Cole Strange Player Profile

PLAYER PROFILE:

Cole Strange is an offensive lineman for the New England Patriots in the National Football League. Cole grew up in Knoxville, Tennessee, where he starred on offense and defense for Farragut High School. He actually excelled as a defensive end in high school and was named the Knoxville Interscholastic League Defensive Player of the Year as a Senior. Cole was rated as a 2-star recruit coming out of high school and committed to the Air Force Academy. He spent one year playing for Air Force before becoming homesick and transferring to the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. That proved to be a wise decision, as Cole became one of the best offensive linemen in school history. He would spend the next four years, anchoring Chattanooga's offensive line. He ended up being named a four-time All-Southern Conference selection and was twice awarded the Southern Conference Jacobs Blocking Trophy, which goes to the best offensive lineman in the Southern Conference. After graduating from Chattanooga in 2021, Cole declared for the 2022 NFL Draft. He impressed at the Seniors Bowl and his pro-day and ended up being selected in the first round by the New England Patriots. He immediately became a starter at guard for the Patriots and started in all 17 games as a Rookie. Cole will continue to be a building-block along the Patriot's offensive line for many years to come and we are beyond ecstatic to have him at camp with us this July! 2024 will be his second consecutive year as a featured instructor at our camp and our lineman campers love working with him! Your chance to meet Cole Strange and other members of the New England Patriots is July 18-21st at the University of Massachusetts-Lowell. Don't miss out!
