Chris Rogers Player Profile

PLAYER PROFILE:

Chris Rogers is a former NFL Defensive Back, who played for the Minnesota Vikings during the 1999-2000 season. After high school, Chris decided to attend Howard University, even though he received eight Division 1 offers. He felt that his academics were just as important as his athletic career. In college, Chris was a four-year starter and earned multiple honors, including being named an All-MEAC First team selection and Howard University Defensive MVP. After he graduated from Howard University, he went undrafted in the NFL Draft, but earned his way onto the Minnesota Vikings in 1999. He played one season for the Vikings before officially retiring from the NFL and becoming a youth football coach. After his retirement, Chris became a coach in the Minnesota area and has coached at many different high schools, including Providence Academy, Edison, and Prior Lake. Chris was a featured instructor for our 2022 & 2023 camps, and we can't wait to have him back with us in 2024! He'll be at our camps in both Minnesota and Virginia in 2024! Follow us on all social medias (@sifootballcamps) for updates on our 2024 NFL players! Don’t miss out!
