NICK HARDWICK & DONALD BUTLER OVERNIGHT / COMMUTER CAMP
Nick HardwickHardwick joined the Perdue University football team in 2002 as a defensive tackle on the scout team. The next year, he became the team's starting center and earned all-conference honors. Hardwick's former Charger teammate Drew Brees was the quarterback of that team. In his senior season, he was awarded the Boilermakers' Pit Bull Award, for his tenacity and intensity.
Hardwick was picked with the 66th overall selection in the 3rd round of the 2004 NFL Draft by the Chargers, and has been the starting center since his rookie season, starting all 111 games he has played in.
A member of the Chargers' 50th Anniversary All-Time Team and a Pro Bowl selection in 2006, Hardwick calls out blocking signals for the entire offensive line.
The Chargers have rushed for at least 1,700 yards in every season that Hardwick has started at least 12 games, including a team-record 2,578 yards in 2006.
When Hardwick started all 16 games for the NFL's number one ranked offense in 2010, teammates honored him with a share of the team's Emil Karas Memorial Award as its most inspirational player.
Donald ButlerIn his junior season at Del Campo High School in Fair Oaks, CA, Butler had 1,504 rushing yards and 22 touchdowns, leading them to a 9-2 record and the Capital Athletic League championship, earning second-team All-Metro and All-CAL MVP. Butler was ranked 55th nationally among outside linebackers by Rivals.com.
In his senior season at University of Washington, Butler was awarded an honorable mention All-America by Sports Illustrated, second-team All Pac-10, co-captain and team Defensive Player of the Year, after recording a career and team-high 94 tackles as a senior, with three forced fumbles, two interceptions and a fumble recovery.
In his four years at Washington, Butler had 239 tackles, 26.5 TFLs, three sacks, five forced fumbles, one fumble recovery, two interceptions and seven pass deflections.
A team captain in 2013, Butler finished second on the team with 99 tackles, including 13 in their Week 17 win against the Chiefs that put the Chargers into the playoffs. In the postseason, Butler added 19 tackles in two games, adding a key forced fumble against the Bengals which led to a comeback win, and picking off Peyton Manning in the end zone the following week.
Through Week 13, Butler has started all 12 games in the 2014 season, is second on the team with 67 total tackles, a sack, three fumble recoveries, and two passes defended.

WHY IS THIS CAMP THE BEST FOOTBALL CAMP IN THE USA?
|Founded in 1983, we are the best teaching football camp in the nation having graduated over 99,000 athletes, many currently playing at the college level. From 2011-2014, Sports International had 250 NFL players or NFL coaches attend our camps and clinics as instructors. No other organization in the nation can make this claim. If you are an experienced football player or just starting football, our football camps are an experience you will never forget!|
You will return home to your team a better football player! Campers learn from outstanding veteran college and high school coaches selected for their ability to coach and teach the game of football. The staff is complimented with Nick Hardwick & Donald Butler and current and/or and former members of the San Diego Chargers. Before the start of camp, each of our instructors attend an orientation session ensuring they adhere to the values and high level of coaching that is expected from the Sports International coaches.
We will teach you the same offensive and defensive techniques that are taught by the San Diego Chargers coaching staff! Campers are grouped by age, position, ability and experience to allow coaches to progressively teach basic and advanced techniques to best benefit each group. Campers are taught at an approximately 10:1 ratio. This ratio ensures that campers receive individual and team instruction on both offense and defense at camp. With each practice, you will receive in-depth instruction, lectures, and demonstrations from an experienced, knowledgeable coaching staff.
At camp, players get all the football they could ever want. Campers receive up to 6 hours of instruction each day. Each camp is the right size to allow players to be matched up properly at each age level. This allows not only for a proper match up, but also for the campers to be challenged and provided with a better learning environment.
Football Technique is the key to success: There are no "tricks" when it comes to being a solid football player! We believe that proper technique make athletes better and good athletes great! The experienced instructors at Sports International concentrate on teaching the fundamentals and proper technique throughout the entire camp.
Our coaching staff offers each player an enormous amount of encouragement with an enormous amount of enthusiasm. Our philosophy is to "let them have fun" while learning a lot of football! We promise each camper will go home a better football player. But players learn more than just football at camp. They are taught about teamwork, consideration of others, self-discipline, and how to attain their potential in sports and in life. Players also learn the importance of achieving good grades and selecting correct role models. We encourage them to go home a more positive, optimistic person. Safety is important at camp so all of the staff is subject to a background check. There are athletic trainers on duty at all times to attend to the campers needs. Send your son to the finest instructional and best supervised football camp in the USA!
