PLAYER PROFILE:

DJ Davidson is a Nose Tackle for the New York Giants in the National Football League. In high school, DJ was a dominant player as a Junior & Senior in Arizona. As a Senior in high school, DJ recorded 67 tackles, 19.5 tackles for loss, & 5.5 sacks. He also led his team to the State Championship Game as a Senior! He was graded as a 3-star prospect coming out of high school. After graduating, he committed to his hometown team, the Arizona State Sun Devils. As a Freshman, DJ immediately played a crucial role for the Sun devils defense and recorded 2 sacks & 10 tackles in 8 games before suffering a season ending injury. He would bounce back after the injury to have 3 straight, healthy seasons for Arizona State! Over his final three years at Arizona State, DJ recorded 123 total tackles, 10 tackles for loss, & 2.5 sacks. He was also named the Curley Culp Outstanding Defensive Linemen as a Senior! After graduating, DJ declared for the 2022 NFL Draft, where he was selected in the 5th round (147th overall) by the New York Giants! As a Rookie in 2022, he played as a depth piece along their defensive line before tearing his ACL in week 5, ending his season. He would bounce back though in 2023 by playing in 15 games in his second year and becoming a valuable depth piece for the New York Giants!
