The coaching staff will thoroughly train and prepare each player during the
entire camp to be a better, more confident football player. With excellent football,
recreational and housing facilities and top coaches, trainers and NFL players,
our goal is to give each camper the finest football instruction available and
a program they will never forget! Parents and relatives are encouraged to attend
the final practice and awards ceremony.
- Daily instruction, lectures and demonstrations by Brian Mitchell and/or members
of the Washington Redskins. Campers get the opportunity to learn the same offensive
and defensive techniques that the Washington Redskins players are taught by coaches
in the NFL.
- Brian Mitchell and members of the Washington Redskins will get right down in the
dirt with you and teach what you need to know! We guarantee there will be members of the Washington Redskins at the Brian Mitchell Football Camp.
- Campers learn from outstanding veteran college and high school coaches selected
for their ability to coach and teach the game of football. Campers are taught
at an approximately 10:1 ratio. This ratio ensures that campers receive individual
and team instruction on both offense and defense at camp.
- All the football a player could want. Campers receive up to 6 hours of instruction
each day. Campers are divided into the following age groups to ensure they receive
the proper training: 7 - 10, 11 - 12, 13 - 14, and 15 - 18.
- Each camp is the right size to allow players to be matched up properly at
each age level. This allows not only for a proper match up but also for the campers
to be challenged and provided with a better learning environment. Without the
proper sized group players are not matched up properly where they will experience
frustration, failure, and loss of confidence.
-
Each camper will receive a coupon to be tested at Dynamic Sports Performance
in Ashburn, VA and get his or her free Combine Test at Stone Bridge High School,
Saturday July 10th at 1:00 pm. For more information or to schedule workouts with
Dynamic Sports Performance, campers can go to www.dspashburn.com or
call 703-858-5016.
- High school players aged 15-18 are eligible for the exclusive "TOP 30"
CLUB. A detailed information packet on each member of the "TOP 30" CLUB
will be sent to over 1,500 college football coaches to help each player receive
recognition at the college level. This is great nationwide exposure
that a player might not get from playing at their high school alone.
- Outstanding recruiting and scholarship opportunities. The coaching staff
for high school age campers is made up primarily of college coaches recruiting
for their schools. Each year several campers go on to play college football.
If a high school player wants to play at the college level, the opportunity to
meet and work with the college coaches on staff is priceless.
National Collegiate Scouting Association (NCSA) - There
will be an NCSA speaker at selected locations to educate campers on the "5 things
you need to know" and the "5 things you must do to get recruited."
NCSA will give a valuable talk to the each camper and their parents in attendance on the last day of camp. Each parent will have the opportunity to speak with a recruiting expert at the conclusion of the seminar, as well as register with NCSA for additional information.
- Players learn more than just football at camp. They are taught about teamwork,
consideration of others, self-discipline, and how to attain their potential in
sports and in life. Players also learn the importance of achieving good grades
and selecting correct role models.
- While it's a football camp not an "autograph camp" campers will have the
opportunity to get autographs from Brian Mitchell as well as members of the Washington Redskins that come in throughout the camp.
- BEST SUPERVISED CAMP IN THE NATION! - Safety is important at camp so all
of the staff is subject to a background check. In addition there are athletic
trainers on duty 24 hours a day to attend to the campers needs.
- All-you-can eat meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner). Lunch is included
for the commuter campers.
- 4 days and 3 nights of housing accommodations on campus. Use of the recreational
facilities is included.
- All players receive a camp T-shirt.
